Cupronickel, also known as white copper, offers outstanding resistance against seawater corrosion and biofouling. Even in continuous contact with saltwater, it resists pitting and crevice corrosion far better than ordinary steel or regular brass.
The nickel content determines the final mechanical strength and anti‑corrosion level of cupronickel. Higher nickel grades deliver stronger tensile strength while keeping good ductility, so it can be bent, welded and fabricated into tubes, sheets and flanges easily.
Marine cooling pipelines, desalination equipment and ship fittings are the main application scenarios. Many offshore engineering buyers prefer cupronickel because it greatly extends service life and lowers long‑term maintenance cost.
We supply standard and custom‑sized cupronickel rods, plates and seamless tubes. All material can be cut and machined to meet project specifications for marine, chemical and coastal infrastructure projects.
