Why Beryllium Copper Stands Out for High‑Strength Spring Components

Jun .07 .2026

Beryllium copper combines ultra‑high tensile strength with good electrical conductivity. After proper heat treatment, it achieves spring‑like elasticity and keeps stable performance after millions of repeated flex cycles.

Unlike many hard alloys, beryllium copper still maintains good machinability. It can be stamped, turned and milled into tiny precision parts such as electrical connectors, switch springs and instrument contact pins.

Another valuable feature is non‑sparking property. Under impact or friction, it will not produce sparks, which makes it suitable for tools and components used in flammable gas environments.

We provide beryllium copper in rod, strip and sheet formats. Customers can choose different temper grades for low‑stress bending or high‑hardness finished parts for electronics and industrial instrumentation.
