Chromium Zirconium Copper for High‑Conductivity Welding Electrodes

Jun .13 .2026

Chromium zirconium copper (CrZrCu) is widely recognized in resistance welding industry. It balances high electrical conductivity, high softening temperature and excellent wear resistance at elevated working temperatures.

During continuous spot welding, electrode tips made from chromium zirconium copper resist thermal softening. Less frequent replacement reduces machine downtime and improves overall welding consistency for automotive and metal fabrication lines.

It also works well for mould inserts and high‑current conductive components. The alloy can be forged, extruded and machined into custom shapes, not only standard round bars but also special profiles.

Strict control over chromium and zirconium content guarantees stable batch quality. Our available stock includes rods, plates and pre‑machined electrode blanks, supporting quick sampling and bulk OEM orders.
